Sanghamithra is a not-for-profit micro-financing institution, incorporated under section 25 of the Indian Companies’ Act, 1956. Originally incorporated in 1995 as a non-banking financial Company,(NBFC), we are now reclassified as a micro-financing institution (MFI) and are exempt from compliance with the registration and other requirements under Sec 45 of the Reserve Bank of India Act.
